Rosyvelt - Copernicus

about

When I was in first grade I got sick and stayed home from school for the day. Upon returning to class I was shocked to find out that everyone had continued lessons without me. I felt as if someone had stolen something of mine and I wanted it back. This changed my perspective forever. Fast forward to my freshman year at college. I am studying the Copernican Revolution at Evergreen in Olympia when a feeling of anger and loss reminiscent of 1st grade returned to me. Like something was stolen. Copernicus undermined the western world's sense of self-importance by revealing the ever expanding universe. This changed our thought and perspective forever. I like stars. Why do they hurt me?
